How to Get Ready For Your Princess Party

by on Thursday, June 29, 2017

How exciting it must be for your little girl! A real, live princess is going to show up at her party. All you need to do is put everything together perfectly for her big day! It seems like a lot, but with our help, it is as easy as saying Supercali...Supercallowgraffle...Superextraplagaristic… As easy as saying Poof!

How to Get Ready For Your Princess Party

Write it all Down

To get you started, we have a form for you to fill out. We know… There is always a form. This one will help you as much as it helps us. It nails down all of the details you may have forgotten. How many people do you want there? Where do you want to have it? Which princess does your princess want? Once you have that filled out and sent back, you can move on to the next step!

Location, Location, Location

Going through the form, did you realize that you didn’t know where you wanted to have the party? Now would probably be a good time to figure that out. If you are renting a restaurant, venue, or hall, you need to get that reservation in as early as possible so that you aren’t stuck with a last minute option. Even if you are thinking about having it at your house, you need to consider if it will be indoors or outdoors? What room would you have it in? Do you have enough chairs? If it is outside, do you have a plan for rain? You need to consider all of this well in advance of the actual day!

The Royal Proclamation

You need to figure out who you are going to have come to the party, and then decide the best way to let everyone know they are invited. Facebook invites may seem the easiest, but a lot of people get too many Facebook invitations, and it might get discarded. A mass email can work, but things do get filtered into spam folders a lot more often than you might think, especially if you use an invitation service. The best and most reliable way of getting invitations into the hands of potential guests is always going to be by mail. It takes a little longer and might cost a few bucks, but you know that it will be opened, and then probably posted on the refrigerator as a reminder. Make sure to ask them to RSVP!

Let Them Eat Cake!

No birthday celebration would be complete without cake. This can be simple and home baked, store bought, or whipped up off of your inspiration board on Pinterest! If you are ordering a cake, make sure to order it well in advance. If you are making it and going the Pinterest route… Give yourself some extra time. The key to a little princesses cake is to go big. All of her favorite colors, frosting roses, edible glitter. You cannot go too far with a little girl's cake. What might look gaudy to you screams fancy to her. Might as well give her what she wants!

Princess Explosion!

As a continuation of the decoration style on the cake, go big here as well! Let her help you do it if she wants. Raid the princess section at your local party supply store. Get balloons, streamers, table toppers, mylar confetti, and even more balloons. You cannot go wrong here! Just have fun.

A Favor from the Princess

You have seen them before, those little bags of trinkets and candies that all kids bring back from their friends’ birthday parties. It is an expected part of the modern birthday party, and we recommend that you keep with that tradition. What can seem like kind of a nuisance to an adult is actually kind of a treasure-trove for a child. It does not have to be much at all, just some candies and themed toys in a bag. If you want to save some time and trouble, you can simply ask The Princess Party Co. in Miami to supply some party favors for you at a very reasonable rate!

A Whole New World

By far, the most important thing at this party is her, your little princess. Everything at the party should be about her. Her favorite colors, her best friends, her favorite food, her favorite princess. This is one of the times it is really acceptable to spoil that little girl the way you want to. You want her to look around and think, “This is my dream come true!” The clock will strike 12 before you know it. Help her be a princess today.
She will never forget it.
