Location, Location, Location

Going through the form, did you realize that you didn’t know where you wanted to have the party? Now would probably be a good time to figure that out. If you are renting a restaurant, venue, or hall, you need to get that reservation in as early as possible so that you aren’t stuck with a last minute option. Even if you are thinking about having it at your house, you need to consider if it will be indoors or outdoors? What room would you have it in? Do you have enough chairs? If it is outside, do you have a plan for rain? You need to consider all of this well in advance of the actual day!

You need to figure out who you are going to have come to the party, and then decide the best way to let everyone know they are invited. Facebook invites may seem the easiest, but a lot of people get too many Facebook invitations, and it might get discarded. A mass email can work, but things do get filtered into spam folders a lot more often than you might think, especially if you use an invitation service. The best and most reliable way of getting invitations into the hands of potential guests is always going to be by mail.
